Flyer Header 22nd

We are excited to announce that one of the leaders in the prom and bridal fashion industry, Mon Cheri, is the official 2015 production number outfit sponsor for National American Miss! The adorable cocktail dresses shown on this page will be worn during the National All-American Miss and National American Miss Pre-Teen production number dances at the pageant finales!

A special note to all of the national contestants who are not competing in an overall queen’s competition, but are traveling to nationals to compete in optional contests or receiving an advertising title: these contestants may appear in the special presentation of formal wear and in the opening production number of the final National All-American Miss pageant for their age division.

All National American Miss and National All-American Miss contestants will need to purchase this opening production number outfit. All outfits will be distributed at the national pageant. The total cost for the production number outfit for all ages is $80.00 plus a $20.00 fee (These black cocktail dresses are replacing the black pants with tops previously worn at Nationals; this is the only production number outfit you will need to purchase.)

NAM State Queens will still need to bring their red, white or pink outfit! As shown in the National Guidebook, the NAM State Queens have two production number dances. One is in the black dress (picked up at the pageant), and one is in a red, white or pink outfit (which they bring).

For Tennessee National Finalist the deadline to submit your size has been extended until September 22 with a $20.00 feeYou will be picking up your cocktail dress at the National Pageant, it is very important that you submit the best size for your body. You want to look and feel great while you rock out in the Production Number Dance, so please take accurate measurements before informing us of the size you would like to order. We recommend that you reference ONLY the official Mon Cheri size chart below in order to figure out which size will best fit you.

The measurements shown are the measurements for the finished dress. So if you are between sizes be sure to go up a size.

It is likely that your specific measurements don’t exactly match one size above, and that’s okay! Use accurate measurements, along with your best judgment and knowledge of your size and shape, to determine which size is best to order. Also, it’s important to notice that these dresses are only “fitted” at the bust and waist.

For best results, have a professional seamstress take your measurements. There are important specific ways, and places, in which measurements should be taken.

Please note that the bodice of the dress has embellishments which make it difficult to let out. It is much easier to order a size up and then be able to take the dress in as needed, if you have any uncertainty about sizing.

Submit your size for your dress by submitting your information to the online form that is on this webpage!  The deadline for Tennessee National Finalist has been extended until September 22, 2015. Deadline for payment of dress is October 10, 2015. You can pay online at www.MyNAMiss.com, by mail or by calling (281) 496-9000. (No payment is required at this time.)

All about your dress header

Who needs to purchase these Production Number Outfits?
All Pre-Teen contestants in the All-American and National American Miss categories must purchase these outfits. This is the only Production Number Outfit needed for All-American contestants. Girls competing for the National American Miss title will also need to bring their own pink, red, or white dress to be worn during their second production number dance.

What shoes do I wear?
As previously directed in your National Guidebook, please wear a black shoe. Pre-Teens should wear a black heel, ballet flat, or boot.

How much is the Production Number Outfit?
These gorgeous cocktail dresses are only $80.00 plus a $20.00 fee when you order it directly through National American Miss.

When do I get the Production Number Outfit?
You will pick up your Mon Cheri Production Number Outfit after attending your age division’s Pageant Check-In at the start of the National Pageant.

When should I submit my size for my Production Number Outfit? For Tennessee National Finalist the deadline has been extended until September 22, 2015. If you miss the deadline, we may not be able to provide you with the dress at all, your requested size, and/or the NAM special pricing may not be available

Do I still need to purchase the black pants and top I saw in previous material? No, you do not and cannot purchase the black pants and top. These black cocktail dresses are the NEW production number outfit, and they are the ONLY production number outfit you need to purchase from National American Miss. The outfit price is still just $80 plus a $20.00 fee, as shown in the National Guidebook, although the regular retail cost of the new dress is more than double that.

What if my Production Number Outfit does not fit? It is up to you to determine the size you will need. So, as long as you take current and accurate measurements, the dress should fit you great. Again, if you are “in-between sizes”, use your knowledge of yourself to choose the best size – YOU know YOU best! You may want to bring some basic sewing items with you to the national pageant (some black thread, sewing needle, etc.) in case you want to do some alterations there.

Remember, you will be DANCING on-stage in this dress! It is important to consider length when viewing the size chart. For Pre-Teen contestants, the youth sizes vary in length.

Again, it is likely that your specific measurements don’t exactly match one size above, and that’s okay! Use accurate measurements, along with your best judgment of your size and shape, to determine which size is best to order. Also, it’s important to notice that these dresses are only “fitted” at the bust and waist; so the hip measurement is moot.

These dresses are modest and age-appropriate, but you may feel more comfortable wearing something special under the dress on your bottom half. You are welcome to bring a black pair of shorts, dance pant, cheer brief, spandex, etc. with you to Nationals to use under your dress. Just please be sure that this garment is black so it matches the dress itself.

Pre-Teens, you can see in the description of your dress that it has a “bateau neckline” – this means the dress has a wide, high neckline that follows the curve of the collarbone and ends on shoulder. Please avoid wearing a bra with normal straps underneath, or these straps will be visible and “stick out”. If you need to wear a bra underneath, a strapless bra will work best.

We are very excited to roll out these beautiful cocktail dresses and celebrate our new sponsorship with Mon Cheri at the 2015 National Pageant. Keep the above information in mind, and you will be able to look and feel great during your Production Number Dance!
